Since we started producing the black wheat variants that we've come to love, we knew that some form of it belonged in bourbon barrels. With our love of finding balance in our beers, we also needed a way to counter the stronger bourbon character against the smooth roastiness of the Midnight Wheat malt that we use in our black wheat beers. The estery sweetness of Belgian yeast fit the bill perfectly!
Midnight Bourbon Barrel Ale will drink well from a snifter. Let warm to 55 degrees for optimal enjoyment.
